Phil Cowdell
Mr. Cowdell is the president of R2C Group, the largest direct response advertising agency in the country, where he leads six teams across the U.S. that create innovative advertising campaigns spanning mobile, online and television media. He formerly served as Chief Executive Officer, then Chairman, of Mindshare, a leading global marketing and advertising network with a customer base that includes such leading brand names as Unilever, Kimberley-Clark, American Express, BP, IBM, LG, Jaguar, LandRover, Holiday Inn/IHG, CVS, Radio Shack, Boehringer Ingelheim, Abbott and 21st Century Insurance. Mindshare is part of GroupM, which oversees the media investment management sector for WPP, the world's leading communications services group.
Previously, Mr. Cowdell was CEO of Ford Media Services at GroupM, leading WPP's media agencies globally for Ford brands including Lincoln, Mercury, Jaguar, Land Rover, Volvo and Mazda. Earlier in his career, Mr. Cowdell held various roles at MediaVest, including media director for P&G.
